Preaching to the Fam

To the Top: Is a picture of the dock that we had our church service on. On the Right: Is a picture of the family that was there.

This weekend Sarah and I took a trip to Iowa to visit her Dad and his side of the family. It was a lot of fun. We did a lot of eating, playing bag board (corn-hole), and just having a good time on the Mississippi River. It was also Grandma Pearl's 86th birthday, so we got to celebrate that with her!

One of the highlights for Sarah and I was Sunday morning. Since most of the family was in town we all decided to have a church service of our own. So we went down to the library boat dock in Camache (Iowa that is) and had our own Duncan family church. I got to preach which was a lot of fun, and everybody stayed awake for the whole service. Overall is was a great weekend!

What a cool setting for such a cool activity! Kind of like Jesus standing in a boat on the edge of the Sea of Galilee to teach his followers... I wish I could have been there to see you in action.
